Spletz-O-Rama started just a couple of weeks ago, and since then I've been filling it with content. Now I'm ready to share it with the world!
Along with sending the link to everybody in my address book, I'm encouraging my friends at The Stranger's SLOG to link to it. The timing is good for that, too, because I write about being in the audience for The Colbert Report last week (see below), and Dan Savage is going to be on the show tonight.
Most of the posts are about movies, some are about TV, one is about opera (really), and I promise to write more about robots, hobos and Vikings in future posts.
Welcome to my Blog,
Andy

Umm, arrrr you suddenly "Anti-pirate" Because I dont see Pirate listed in your statement of intent. I realise that there may be a bit of a buzz in certain movie making towns about pirate stuff lately, but that in no way lessens the historical coolness factor of things pirate.
On another quasi related note I recently saw Hal Ashbys Bound for glory which has heavy use of hoboes as background.

Promising blog, but I notice a conspicuous lack of clowns and/or rock in the mission statement. Thus, this:

Long overdue.
...bookmarked!
As for the "anti-pirate" observation, I'll just say that I celebrate September 19 like anyone else. Plus, vikings were essentially the first pirates, so that's covered, and robot pirates are inevitable here.
And as for that link to the clown rock? Awesome! Here's another one, which essentially begins: "I'm Dr. Rockso, the Rock 'n' Roll Clown! I do cocaine!" I may have the clown's name wrong.
